Corinthians' number 8 stands out in an important aspect for the club in the Brasileirão since 2024

Signed two seasons ago from Talleres, in Argentina, midfielder Rodrigo Garro has become one of Corinthians' main players since his arrival, often being the 'brain' of the team. A survey published by the Fiel Imprensa profile, on X, formerly Twitter, shows that the Argentine stands out in an important aspect of the club in the Brazilian Championship since 2024.

Since then, in the national competition, the Argentine has been directly responsible for creating 13 of the last 15 occasions where a Corinthians athlete generated at least five clear scoring chances in a single Brasileirão game. According to data released by the page, Rodrigo Garro reached this mark in six matches in the 2024 Brasileirão.

That year, in the 1-1 draw against Juventude, in Itaquera, he created nine chances. He then generated eight chances in the 4 x 2 victory, away from home, against Criciúma, and six in the games against Vasco da Gama, Vitória and Red Bull Bragantino. Against Athletico-PR and Internacional, five great chances were created by the athlete.

In the 2025 Brazilian Championship, he repeated the feat five times. Against Grêmio, they had the highest number: seven chances created. Against Botafogo and Bahia, there were six and five against Cruzeiro and Juventude. In the 2026 season, it has already reached this mark in two games: Grêmio (7) and Vasco (6). Since Fernando Diniz's arrival, the midfielder has resumed his good performance and leads Timão's assist ranking this year (11).

With a contract until December 2028, Rodrigo Garro has 17 goals and 33 assists in 134 games (108 as a starter), with 60 wins, 36 draws and 38 defeats - 53.73% success rate. In addition, there are three titles won: Campeonato Paulista (2025), Copa do Brasil (2025) and Supercopa do Brasil (2026), against Palmeiras, Vasco da Gama and Flamengo, respectively.
