Corinthians maintains streak and adds fourth consecutive victory in debuts in the women's Paulista Under-20

Corinthians began their journey in the 2026 Paulistão Feminino U20 with a quiet victory. Last Wednesday, the team beat São Bento 3-0 and maintained a positive streak at the opening of the state competition, achieving the fourth consecutive year debuting with a triumph.

The goals that built the score were scored by Dafhiny, who scored two goals, and Emelym, who completed the black and white victory. With this, Timão scored its first three points in the tournament in the opening round.

The result repeated the performance of the previous season. In 2025, Corinthians had also beaten Centro Olímpico 3-0, with two goals from Rayane Pontes and one from Ester, who currently defends Botafogo on loan - check the details at the end of the note.

In 2024, the debut had an even more elastic score. On that occasion, the Brabinhas defeated Mauaense 4-0, with goals from Dany Pereira, Manu Teixeira, Rafa Rocha - now a member of the professional squad - and again Rayane Pontes.

The most significant beginning of the sequence came in 2023, when Corinthians scored a 9-0 defeat over São Bernardo. In that game, Rafa Rodrigues and Isa Cabral scored twice each, while Stefanie, Miracatu, Bell, Gaby Tomé and Brunna Meer also left their marks.

The only debut without a victory occurred in the inaugural edition of the tournament, in 2022. The black and white team was beaten by São Paulo 3-1, with the Corinthians goal scored by Sabrina Amorim.

Even with their good record in debuts, Corinthians still failed to reach the Paulistão Feminino Under-20 final. In all four previous appearances, the team stopped in the semifinals, being eliminated twice by São Paulo, once by Santos and once by Ferroviária.

The Brabinhas return to the field next Wednesday, when they face São Paulo in the second round of the championship. The classic will be played at 3pm, at Fazendinha.
