Corinthians intensifies preparation in the interseason with activities on a reduced field at CT Joaquim Grava

Corinthians continued, this Sunday morning (28), the preparation for the resumption of the 2026 season. At CT Dr. Joaquim Grava, the squad led by Fernando Diniz carried out the fourth day of work of the interseason, continuing the planning aimed at the return of official competitions at the end of July.

Before returning to play matches in the Brazilian Championship, Copa do Brasil and Conmebol Libertadores, Timão will have a friendly match. The team will face Cascavel on July 12th, at 4pm (Brasília time), at the Arnaldo Busato Stadium, in Cascavel, Paraná. The duel will serve as part of the preparation for the season's sequel.

This Sunday's program started in the gym, where the athletes performed a physical activation. Afterwards, the squad went to Field 2 to warm up and participated in a circuit of activities coordinated by physical trainer Wagner Bertelli.

Still on the pitch, assistant coach Léo Porto led training focused on pressure in marking and maintaining possession of the ball in a reduced space, an activity that is part of the methodology implemented by the technical committee during the interseason.

In the final part of the activities, in Field 3, Fernando Diniz promoted confrontation between the players. While part of the group participated in collective training, the other athletes performed specific crossing and finishing exercises alongside the technical assistants.

The technical committee takes advantage of the period without official games to intensify physical, technical and tactical aspects, in addition to improving the game concepts implemented since Fernando Diniz arrived at the helm of the team.

Corinthians returns to training this Monday morning (29), again at CT Dr. Joaquim Grava, continuing the preparation schedule before the friendly against Cascavel and the resumption of national and continental competitions.
