Corinthians continued its preparations for the resumption of the season this Friday morning (10). At CT Dr. Joaquim Grava, the squad led by coach Fernando Diniz completed the 15th day of activities during the interseason, intensifying physical, technical and tactical work with an eye on the challenges of the second semester.

The activities began in the gym, where the players performed strength training. Then, already on the pitch, the coaching staff carried out the traditional warm-up before starting a dynamic of attack against defense. The exercise prioritized plays in offensive transition with numerical superiority, seeking to improve the athletes' decision-making and efficiency in attacking actions.

At the end of the morning, Fernando Diniz led a tactical training session on a reduced field, with two teams of ten players. The main objective of the activity was to adjust the team's defensive behavior, in addition to allowing the coach to guide the athletes in different game situations, reinforcing concepts that have been worked on since the beginning of the interseason.

The preparation is part of the final stretch before Corinthians returns to the pitch. This Saturday morning (11), the squad will carry out their last training session at CT Dr. Joaquim Grava before heading to Paraná, where they will face Cascavel in a friendly. The match will be played on Sunday (12), at the Arnaldo Busato Municipal Stadium, and will serve as a test for the team before the official resumption of competitions.

After the friendly match, Timão will turn its attention to the Brazilian Championship. The black and white team will have a sequence of three matches later this month: they host Remo, at Neo Química Arena, on the 23rd, visit Bahia, at Arena Fonte Nova, on the 26th, and end the series of matches against Athletico, again in Itaquera, on the 30th.

In addition to focusing on results, Fernando Diniz takes advantage of the period without official games to consolidate his game model and increase the squad's interaction. The technical committee's expectation is to use the friendly against Cascavel to observe the team's performance in a competitive scenario before the resumption of the national calendar.
