Corinthians ended up being beaten by Cruzeiro this Tuesday afternoon, in a duel played at CT Toca da Raposa, in the fourth round of the Brazilian Under-17 Championship. After taking a two-goal lead in the first half, Timãozinho suffered a comeback in the final stage and was defeated 3-2. The goals from the black and white team were scored by Lucca Caramico and Miguel Moscardo.

For the commitment in Belo Horizonte, the technical committee selected the team with Gustavo Milani; Brenno Augusto, Estevão Balarin, Ronaldo Henrique and Wendel; Ji-Paraná, Lucca Caramico and Léo Amitá; Matheus Rocha, Gustavo Sales and Miguel Moscardo. As options on the reserve bench, Corinthians had Rafael Alencar, Kevin Fernando, Felipe Aguirra, Nathan William, Rafael Luiz, Rhyan, Thiago Coelho, Luan Banhado, Gabriel Cordeiro, Rafael Guarnieri, Lucas Lopes and Jerry.

On the other side, Cruzeiro started the match with Diogo; Luiz Índio, Eduardo Wozniak, Bryan Campos and Júlio Damique; Luis Guilherme, Luan and Ronald; Ramalho, Henrique Lemos and Thaylon.

Without official broadcast, the clash got off to a promising start for the Parque São Jorge team. Superior in the first 45 minutes, Timãozinho managed to turn their dominance into an advantage on the scoreboard before the break. Lucca Caramico opened the scoring, while Miguel Moscardo doubled, taking the visitors to the dressing room in a comfortable situation.

The scenario, however, changed completely in the complementary stage. After just six minutes, Ronald scored for the home team. Shortly afterwards, at eight, Corinthians started to play with one less player after Ji-Paraná was sent off.

With numerical superiority, Cruzeiro increased the offensive pressure and managed to react. Thaylon appeared as the protagonist, finding the net on two occasions, declaring Minas Gerais' turnaround and confirming the 3-2 victory.

With the result, Corinthians remains with seven points won after four rounds played and leaves the group of the top three, now appearing in fourth place in the table.

The team led by Guilherme Nascimento will return to the field next week. The next match will be against Botafogo, on the 23rd, Tuesday, at 3pm, at Fazendinha, in the fifth round of the Brazilian Under-17 Championship.
