Corinthians Futsal seeks 2nd best start in Paulistão in the decade; look

This Wednesday (05), Corinthians returns to the court to face Indaiatuba, at Ginásio Wlamir Marques, at 8pm, seeking to maintain their unbeaten record in the Paulista Futsal Championship.

The black and white team comes from three consecutive victories (Praia Grande, Taubaté and Pulo Futsal) and a draw, against Santo André, adding ten points at the start of the tournament.

In case of victory over Indaiatuba, Corinthians will have 13 points in five rounds played, registering their second best start in the Campeonato Paulista since 2021. Higher numbers than those of the current season were recorded in 2022 and 2025, seasons in which they achieved 100% success, beating all five initial opponents in the first phase.

With a draw, Timão would equal the performances of 2021 and 2023, also below the year 2024. In case of defeat, in addition to losing its unbeaten record, the team would record its worst start in Paulistão in the decade.

With an eye on the top of the table, Corinthians is in 3rd place, with ten points, and can compete with the Magnus and Praia Grande teams, who have 13 and 12 points, respectively.
