During the last weekend, the Brazilian Under-17 Futsal Team became champions of the Nations League of the sport, played in Córdoba, region of Andalusia, in the south of Spain, after having an undefeated campaign with 100% success. The regular Cauã Farias, from the Corinthians base, gave an interview to the social networks of the Brazilian Futsal Confederation (CBF), and commented on the importance of winning a cup wearing the Amarelinha shirt.
"The feeling I had is indescribable. It is impossible to find words to describe the moment, the happiness of winning a title with the greatest shirt on the planet. I am very happy, very happy with the title in Córdoba, Spain, knowing how much we came together, how much we worked, and fortunately this title crowned all of this", he began.

During the campaign in the international tournament, the Brazilian team won the four matches it played. In their debut, they beat hosts Spain 4 x 2 - Cauã scored one of the goals. They then beat Indonesia, without fear, by a score of 9 x 0 and then beat France 3 x 2 in the semi-finals, before beating Spain again, this time 5 x 2.
In the decision against the Spanish, Farias went to the net twice and, as a bonus, received the award for best athlete of the match - MVP (Most Valuable Player or Most Valuable Player, in Portuguese). The young man highlighted that he has always dreamed of everything he is experiencing and highlighted his dedication for always seeking his best on the court.
"In relation to the MVP, it makes the moment much more special than it already is. This award represents a lot to me, but it was never a dream, actually, because I never imagined being recognized like this, especially in a final, and I am very grateful for that. What made the difference in my performance was the confidence to do better than I had already done in the competition and the good mind to deal with the adversities that the game demanded, and this all resulted in the title, which was what I most expected", he said.
Another Corinthians athlete was also part of the achievement with Canarinho: goalkeeper Cauã Gamba. He even scored one of the goals in the final of the competition against Spain. Both, together, have already won three titles in less than a year with Brazil in the category. In November last year, they were part of winning the Dakar International Tournament at Jeux Festival, in Senegal. In April 2026, they made up the winning squad of the South American Youth Games in Panama.
This trophy also guaranteed Amarelinha's presence in the Youth Olympic Games, which will take place in November 2026, in Dakar, Senegal. Cauã Gamba and Cauã Farias play in the U18 futsal category at Corinthians. At the moment, Timão is fifth in the state with 23 points, six behind first-placed São Paulo, which has two more games. The duo reinforced Timãozinho in winning the Taça Brasil U17, in Espírito Santo, in May.
