Corinthians full-back will be a Globo commentator at the World Cup

One of the main names of Corinthians Feminino, full-back Tamires will be part of the panel of presenters and commentators on TV Globo's Central da Copa, during the 2026 World Cup. The news was announced by the athlete this Tuesday (02), in a post made on her social networks.

"A new challenge is coming, presenting Central da Copa with Tadeu Schmidt and Fábio Porchat from Monday to Saturday live every night on Globo.

In 2022, at the World Cup held in Qatar, shirt number 37 had already joined Globo's team of commentators during the competition. More recently, last year, the athlete participated in an edition of Globo Esporte, analyzing the women's football friendly between Brazil and Japan.

Even with his new role, Tamires will reconcile his commitments with the broadcaster along with Corinthians' routine. It's worth remembering that Brabas will take to the field on the 5th and 9th of June, in friendlies against the United States under-23 team, in São Paulo.
