Corinthians faces the Third Millennium in the eighth round clash of the Paulistão U-17

Corinthians U17 returns to the field this Saturday for the eighth round of the Campeonato Paulista category. Starting at 11 am, Timãozinho faces the Third Millennium, at Ceret, with the mission of reducing the distance to the first placed in Group 12.

The team led by Guilherme Nascimento arrives motivated after a convincing performance in the Brazilian Under-17 Championship, a competition in which they beat Botafogo 4-0 in the most recent round.

For the State, the last match ended in a draw. Away from home, Corinthians finished 2-2 against São Caetano and maintained a campaign of four wins, one draw and just one defeat so far.

With 13 points won, the Parque São Jorge club appears in third place in its group. Juventus occupies second place, with 15 points, while Ibrachina leads alone, with perfect performance and 21 points added in the first seven rounds.

Probable lineup

For this Saturday's clash, Timãozinho will be missing in midfield. The Piracicaba midfielder received a red card in the previous round and is subject to automatic suspension.

Given this scenario, the tendency is for Corinthians to start the match with the following formation: Matheus Alemão; Kevin Fernando, Felipe Aguirra, Nathan (Estevão Balarin) and Rafael Luiz; Rafael Guarnieri, Victor Michell and Gabriel Cordeiro; Rhyan Ladeira, Luan Banhado and Thiago Coelho.

Arbitration

The São Paulo Football Federation chose Thales Augusto Mariano dos Santos to lead the match. Assisting will be Uriel Gomes Francisco de Souza and Ricardo Pavanelli Lanutto. Rodrigo Santos was appointed as the fourth referee of the duel.
