Corinthians continues to be unable to react away from home in the National Futsal League (LNF). Last Saturday night (4), the team was defeated by Umuarama 1 x 0, at Ginásio Amário Vieira da Costa, in Paraná, in a match valid for the 11th round of the competition.
In addition to interrupting the sequence of two consecutive victories achieved against Tubarão, in the LNF, and Wimpro Guarulhos, in the Campeonato Paulista, the result kept Timão without winning as a visitor in the current edition of the national tournament.

Corinthians' last victory away from home in the National League took place more than seven months ago, on November 20, 2025. On that occasion, the black and white team beat Campo Mourão 1 x 0, at the UTFPR Arena, in the first game of the LNF semifinal, with a goal from Luisinho. The triumph was essential for qualifying for the decision, confirmed days later at the Ginásio Wlamir Marques.
Since then, the club has not won away from home in the competition. The negative sequence began precisely in the final of the last edition, when, after drawing 3 x 3 in São Paulo, Corinthians was defeated by Jaraguá 3 x 0, in Santa Catarina, leaving them runner-up in the National League.
In 2026, the away campaign continues to be one of the main challenges for the team led by Fernando Malafaia. In six matches played away from home for the LNF, Timão suffered six consecutive defeats. During the period, he scored just six goals and conceded 17, with an average of less than one goal scored per game and almost three conceded per game.
The series started right at the competition's debut, with a 4-1 defeat to Joinville. Subsequently, Corinthians was beaten by Carlos Barbosa (3 x 2), Jaraguá (3 x 2), Atlântico (3 x 0), Campo Mourão (3 x 2) and, now, Umuarama (1 x 0).
Despite the recent reaction at home, when they ended a streak of seven matches without a win by beating Tubarão 3-1 and, later, thrashing Wimpro Guarulhos 5-1 in the Campeonato Paulista, their performance as a visitor continues to prevent a more consistent recovery in the National League.
The defeat also interrupted the possibility of Corinthians achieving their first three-game winning streak of the season. Before the setback, the squad had been buoyed by triumphs over Tubarão and Wimpro Guarulhos.
With the result in Paraná, Timão once again turns on the warning signal in the competition and will seek to react in the next rounds to remain in the classification zone for the National League playoffs.
