Corinthians ends week of training with confrontational activity and continues preparation for the resumption of the season

Corinthians completed, this Saturday morning (4), another week of preparation for the continuation of the 2026 season. At CT Dr. Joaquim Grava, the squad led by Fernando Diniz carried out training focused on full-field confrontation, continuing the interseason work before the resumption of official competitions.

The activities began in the gym, where the athletes performed physical activity. Afterwards, the group went to Field 4 for a warm-up led by physical trainer Wagner Bertelli.

After the initial work, Fernando Diniz promoted confrontation training using the entire field. During the activity, the coach interrupted the exercise at various times to guide the players, adjusting the team's positioning, movements and tactical aspects.

The Corinthians squad will have a day off this Sunday (5) and return to training next Monday (6), when they will continue their preparation for the second half of the season.

Before returning from official commitments for the Brazilian Championship, Copa do Brasil and Conmebol Libertadores, Timão will play a friendly against Cascavel. The match is scheduled for July 12th, at 4pm (Brasília time), at the Arnaldo Busato Stadium, in Cascavel, Paraná.

Among those absent from work is Memphis Depay. The striker received a period of vacation after playing for the Netherlands at the World Cup. With the Dutch elimination, the player was released to complete the same rest period granted to the rest of the squad, who returned to CT Dr. Joaquim Grava on June 25th.

Another absent player is Jesse Lingard. The midfielder was authorized by Corinthians to travel to England, where he attends the funeral of a family member. The club granted release so that the athlete could remain with his family at this time.
