Corinthians ends the group stage of the Brazilian Under-17 Women's Championship with an unprecedented perfect campaign

Corinthians continues to have an impeccable campaign in the 2026 Brazilian Women's Under-17 Championship. After beating Gazin Porto Velho 4 x 0, last Saturday (4), the Brabinhas ended the group stage with 100% success, achieving an unprecedented feat since the change in the format of the competition.

With six wins in six matches, the black and white team finished the first phase undefeated and confirmed the leadership of their group. It is the first time that Corinthians has completed the qualifying stage with maximum success in the current tournament model, which has six rounds before the start of the knockout stages.

Corinthians' journey began with a historic rout of Gazin Porto Velho 15 x 0, away from home. Subsequently, the Brabinhas overcame Mixto-PB and UDA in round-trip matches, before closing the campaign with another victory over the team from Rondônia.

The classification places Corinthians in the quarter-finals of the competition, where they will face UDA again. The clashes are scheduled for July 25th and August 1st, with the black and white team deciding their place at home due to having had the best campaign.

Although it is the first perfect campaign since the adoption of the current regulations, Corinthians had already ended the initial phase with 100% success in 2024. In that edition, however, the format provided for only three matches in the first phase. The Brabinhas beat Fortaleza, Minas Brasília and Ferroviária, but ended up being eliminated by Grêmio in the first knockout match.

In 2025, the club was also close to repeating its performance. After winning the first five matches, they suffered their only defeat in the last round of the group stage against Centro Olímpico. Despite this, the team reacted in the knockout stage and won the national title by beating Grêmio in the final.

In the current edition, in addition to six consecutive victories, Corinthians ended the qualifying phase with an efficient attack and a dominant campaign, establishing themselves as one of the main candidates for the category title.
