Corinthians ends the first phase of the Brazilian Under-17 Women's Championship against Gazin Porto Velho

Corinthians returns to the field this Saturday afternoon (4) to compete in the final round of the group stage of the Brazilian Women's Under-17 Championship. The Brabinhas host Gazin Porto Velho, at 3pm (Brasília time), at Fazendinha, already qualified for the knockout phase of the competition.

The team led by Igor Freire arrives at the clash with an impeccable campaign. So far, Corinthians has won the five matches played, guaranteeing the group leadership in advance. In the first round, Timão beat Gazin Porto Velho 15 x 0, in Rondônia.

Even with the place secured, the duel could mark an unprecedented feat for the category. If they confirm another victory, Corinthians will end the first phase with 100% success in the current format of the Brazilian Under-17 Women's Championship.

After the end of the group stage, the Brabinhas will meet their quarter-final opponents. The regulations foresee that Corinthians will face the second best runner-up in the competition.

Probable Corinthians lineup

Thinking about the sequence of the tournament, the technical committee may preserve some athletes considered starters. The probable black and white formation has: Maryah; Gimenez, Kaillany, Elohá and Emily Victória; Kathleen, Isa Soares, Lara Ráculo and Nay; Júlia Romero and Mariela Baiak.

Arbitration

The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) selected Talita Ximenes de Freitas to lead the match. The assistants will be Eduarda Gomide Rubio and Gabriel Rodrigues Santos, while Danilo Ricardo Salgado will act as fourth referee.

Upcoming appointments

After ending its participation in the group stage of the Brazilian Under-17 Women's Championship, Corinthians turns its attention to the Campeonato Paulista category. The debut is scheduled for September 6th, against São José. Afterwards, the Brabinhas will face Taubaté, on September 13th.
