Corinthians ends preparation for clash in the Brasileirão Under-20 and striker plans the match

Corinthians finished, this Tuesday morning, the preparation for the duel against Vitória, valid for the 16th round of the Brazilian Under-20 Championship. The activity took place at the Corinthians Athlete Training Excellence Center (CEFAC), the squad's last commitment before the match scheduled for this Wednesday, at 3pm, at Fazendinha.

Without the presence of an audience, the match will be broadcast exclusively on Corinthians TV. Timãozinho enters the field looking to maintain the good moment experienced in recent weeks and expand the positive sequence built between the Campeonato Brasileiro and Campeonato Paulista.

The training began with a physical activation on the lawn. Subsequently, under the command of coach William Batista, Filhos do Terrão carried out tactical work focused on both the offensive and defensive systems. The group also adjusted its positioning in set pieces, one of the technical committee's focuses in the final stretch of preparation.

Buoyed by three consecutive victories in both competitions, Corinthians sees the duel as decisive in the fight for a place in the next phase of the national tournament. Currently with 22 points, the team starts the round occupying tenth place in the table.

One of the highlights of the squad, striker Gustavo Correa highlighted the importance of achieving another positive result to keep the team firmly in the fight for classification.

"The week was very productive, we worked very focused to win the three points. Furthermore, achieving the fourth victory in a row will be very important for us to achieve our first objective, which is classification", he pointed out.
