Corinthians debuts in the Paulista Feminino U20 against São Bento; see match information

Corinthians begins its journey in the Paulista Women's Under-20 Championship this Wednesday (17). In the first round of the state competition, Brabinhas will face São Bento, at 3pm (Brasília time), at the Walter Ribeiro Municipal Stadium, in Sorocaba.

The team led by Julia Passero returns to compete in an official match after a period of preparation. Corinthians' last match was at the end of April, in the Brazilian Under-20 Women's Championship, when they were eliminated by São Paulo in the quarter-finals. After two draws in the match, 0 x 0 and 2 x 2, the place was decided on penalties.

Last season, Corinthians did not win the Paulista Feminino Under-20 title and is looking for a different campaign in 2026. The current edition of the tournament will feature 12 teams participating in the first phase. The teams face each other in a single round, and the eight best placed teams advance to the knockout stage.

Probable lineup

For her debut, Julia Passero must use the formation considered main at her disposal. The likely Corinthians have: Ana Morganti; Rafa Rocha, Brunna Meer, Dany Pereira and Emelym; Gabi Pires, Hariadni, Gabi Jordi and Helô Camargo; Dulce Maria and Manu Olivan.

Arbitration

The match will have Fernanda dos Santos Ignácio de Souza as the main referee. The assistants will be Anna Beatriz Scagnolato and Natalia de Oliveira Almeida. Fabíola Adelina Camargo Silva will be the fourth referee of the clash. The match will not have the assistance of the video referee (VAR).
