Corinthians, along with the rest of Brazilian football, is experiencing a break in the calendar due to the World Cup, which will start next week. Timão reaches the middle of a season in which it changed technical command and went through fluctuations at home and away.
Of the 37 games played by Corinthians in 2026, 17 were inside the Neo Química Arena. Playing at home, Alvinegro Paulista has so far accumulated nine wins, three draws and five defeats, maintaining a 58.8% success rate. In addition, there were 21 goals scored and 12 goals conceded in this period.

However, under the command of Fernando Diniz, the statistics are more encouraging for Timão. There were eight games with the coach, totaling six wins, one draw and just one defeat, with a success rate of 79.1%. During this period, there were ten goals scored by Corinthians and only four goals for their opponents.
As a visitor during the season, the statistics are not impressive. With 19 matches played away from Itaquera, Corinthians accumulated six wins, eight draws and five defeats, accounting for 45.6% of the points played. Away from home, 18 goals were scored and 19 conceded.
The away campaign with Fernando Diniz also brings better numbers. The team played eight matches, winning three, drawing another three and being defeated twice, which represents a 50% success rate. Furthermore, Alvinegro Paulista scored ten goals and was leaked eight times.
Now, Corinthians will only play again next month, more precisely on July 22nd. The squad led by Diniz will host Remo at the Neo Química Arena, in a match valid for the 19th round of the Brazilian Championship and which will still have a set time.
