The president of Corinthians, Osmar Stabile, announced this Saturday that the club had signed a sponsorship agreement with Fatal Fans, a platform linked to the Fatal Model escort website. The contract foresees an initial investment of R$22 million and could reach R$31 million, according to the goals set out in the bond.

Gazeta Esportiva had anticipated that Corinthians was holding negotiations with the company for an agreement involving different modalities of the club. At the time, conversations revolved around a contract worth approximately R$17 million, but the proposal was expanded before signing.

The announcement was made by Stabile in a video aimed at fans. According to the agent, the resources will be used to strengthen the club's so-called land sports.

"Corinthians basketball players, I came here to tell you that we have signed with Fatal Fans, a significant value for land sports. There has never been a significant value for land sports, in which we will use the resources for basketball, futsal and women's football. This is work that has been carried out. The value is significant at R$ 22 million, and could reach R$ 31 million", he stated.

Afterwards, the president highlighted the importance of investment for the continuity of black and white basketball.

"I want to tell you that Corinthians basketball will continue working at full speed and with the intensity it always has", he added.

The sponsorship covers four club sports: men's professional football, women's football, basketball and futsal. Fatal Fans will print its brand on the men's team's shorts, on the back of the basketball uniform and on the bottom hem of the futsal shirt.

On the women's team uniform, the company's brand will not be displayed. The space will be used to disseminate messages in support of women's causes and social initiatives.

Negotiations cooled down after the negative repercussions among some of the fans when the company's interest became public. However, Corinthians resumed talks and managed to increase the value of the proposal before making the agreement official.
