Corinthians carries out training focusing on offensive construction during the interseason

Corinthians continued, this Tuesday morning (7), preparing for the return of official competitions. At CT Dr. Joaquim Grava, the squad led by Fernando Diniz carried out another training session during the interseason, with activities focused on technical, tactical and physical aspects aimed at following the Brazilian Championship, the Copa do Brasil and the Conmebol Libertadores.

The activities began in the gym, where the players carried out muscle strengthening work. Afterwards, on the pitch, the group participated in the warm-up before being divided into sectors for specific exercises.

During training, the technical committee promoted a dynamic of exchanging passes with shots, in addition to exercises aimed at defensive organization. In the final part of the activity, Fernando Diniz led work focused on the team's offensive construction, prioritizing the release of the ball, the creation of plays and infiltrations in the final third of the field in a confrontational game.

This Tuesday's training marked the 12th day of preparation for the squad since the start of the interseason. Corinthians will continue with its training schedule this Wednesday (8), again at CT Dr. Joaquim Grava.

As part of the preparation for the second semester, Timão will play a friendly against Cascavel next Sunday (12), at 4pm (Brasília time), at the Estádio Municipal Arnaldo Busato, in Cascavel, Paraná. The match will serve as a test before the resumption of the official calendar and will be broadcast on SporTV and GE.TV, on YouTube.
