Corinthians carries out training focused on transitions and introduces new physical trainer in CT

Corinthians continued, this Monday morning (29), preparing for the return of the season. At CT Dr. Joaquim Grava, the squad led by Fernando Diniz held the fifth day of activities of the 2026 interseason, with work focused on physical and tactical aspects.
The activities began in the training center's gym, where the athletes participated in a physical activation. Then, the group went to Field 2 to warm up before starting the ball exercises.

Afterwards, Fernando Diniz led confrontation training focusing on defensive transitions. Afterwards, the players went to Field 1, where they participated in games in a reduced space. The activity prioritized marking situations under pressure, intensity in recovering possession and decision-making in a short space of time.
In addition to the movements on the field, Corinthians presented something new to the technical committee. Physical trainer Marlon Muniz joins the club's Health and Performance Department and will be responsible for strength training carried out at the CT Dr. Joaquim Grava gym.
Marlon arrives at Parque São Jorge after playing for Vasco and reinforces the multidisciplinary team during the rest of the season, which will include commitments to the Brazilian Championship, Copa do Brasil and Conmebol Libertadores.
Cast preparation continues this Tuesday (30). The technical committee scheduled another day of training in two periods, continuing the interseason planning before the resumption of official competitions.
