Corinthians carries out technical and tactical training on the 15th day of the interseason
Corinthians continued their interseason this Friday morning, which marks the 15th day of training during the World Cup break. Fernando Diniz led technical and tactical exercises focusing on the defensive aspect at CT Dr. Joaquim Grava.
How was training?
After starting the day with strength work in the gym, the players went to the pitch and warmed up.
Soon afterwards, the squad was divided into two groups and carried out an attack against defense activity, with offensive numerical superiority.
Finally, Fernando Diniz promoted a tactical activity of 10 players against 10, focusing on the defensive part.
Back to work
Timão hasn't been on the field for over a month. The team's last match took place on May 30th, in the Brasileirão, when they beat Grêmio 3-1, at Arena do Grêmio, in the last round before the break in the calendar.
Since then, the cast has had a vacation and is now preparing at CT Dr. Joaquim Grava for the rest of the season. Last Saturday, the team completed the tenth day of training since returning from break.
What is Corinthians' next game?
Before returning to official competitions, Timão will play a friendly against Cascavel on July 12th, at 4pm (Brasília time), at the Arnaldo Busato Stadium, in Paraná. The resumption after the break will be on July 23rd, at 7:30 pm, against Remo, in the last round of the first round of the Brazilian Championship, at Neo Química Arena.
