Corinthians beat Brothers and win again for Paulista Feminino U20

Corinthians won again in the Paulista Women's Under-20 Championship. On the afternoon of this Wednesday (8), Brabinhas defeated Brothers 4 x 0, at Ninho do Corvo, in Guarulhos, in a duel valid for the fourth round of the state competition. The black and white goals were scored by Hariadni, twice, Gabi Jordi and Clarinha.

For the match, coach Julia Passero selected Corinthians with: Bianca Gois; Mel Cruz, Dany Pereira and Debora Emilly; Lara Mel; Gabi Jordi, Julia Faria, Hariadni and Helô Camargo; Dafhiny and Manu Teixeira.

As options on the bench, the team had Sophia Trindade, Gabi Pires, Júlia Romero, Dulce Maria, Clarinha, Emilly Victória, Laura Garcia, Maria Clara and Gloria Gasparini.

The game

Timão took control of the action from the first minutes and opened the scoring in the 13th minute of the opening stage. Hariadni took the opportunity to score and put Brabinhas ahead before the break.

In the second half, Corinthians maintained the offensive rhythm and quickly increased the score. After just three minutes, Gabi Jordi scored the team's second goal. Shortly after, at ten, Hariadni scored again and scored his second goal of the match.

The rout was completed by Clarinha. Used throughout the final stage, the attacker needed just six minutes on the field to score Corinthians' fourth goal and close the score in Guarulhos.

With the result, Corinthians reached seven points and occupies fifth place in the Paulista Women's Under-20 Championship table. The Portuguese team also has seven points, but has an advantage in the tiebreaker criteria. Santos and Palmeiras appear with nine points, while Ferroviária leads the competition with 12.

Next appointment

The Brabinhas return to the field next Wednesday (15), at 3pm (Brasília time), to compete in the Derby against Palmeiras, at Arena Barueri, in the sixth round of the state championship. Previously scheduled for this Saturday (11), the duel against Portuguesa, valid for the fifth round, has been postponed and will be held on July 18th.
