Corinthians athletes present themselves for training period with the Brazilian Women's Team

Over the course of last Sunday (14), seven Corinthians players presented themselves to the Brazilian Women's Team, led by coach Arthur Elias, for a period of training in Itu, in the interior of São Paulo. The presentation of the candidates took place at the Oito Hotel, where the Amarelinha delegation will stay until next Saturday (20). Canarinho is planning to compete in the 2027 Women's World Cup, which will be held on Brazilian soil.
The Corinthians athletes who will participate in the training week are: goalkeepers Nicole and Ana Morganti, right-back/attacker Ivana Fuso, midfielders Ana Vitória and Andressa Alves, as well as attackers Jhonson and Jaqueline. In total, 29 players were called. However, striker Jheniffer, who played for Timão, ended up being cut from the list as she was recovering from an injury to the plantar fascia of her left foot.

The Corinthians Feminino squad, it is worth remembering, has been on vacation since the 10th of June and will return to CT Dr. Joaquim to continue training with an eye on the season following only on the 25th. Until the end of 2026, the Brabas will compete in: Campeonato Brasileiro, Conmebol Libertadores, Copa do Brasil and Conmebol Libertadores.
The Parque São Jorge club will return to the pitch on July 17th, when they will host Ferroviária, at the Alfredo Schürig Stadium, Fazendinha, for the fourth round of the classification phase of the Campeonato Paulista Feminino. The two teams will also face each other in the round of 16 of the Copa do Brasil Feminina, which has a base date of July 22.
