"Confessions II": see the celebrities who appear in Madonna's new short

The short film "Confessions II - The Film", a new project by singer Madonna, 67, premiered at the Tribeca Festival in New York on Friday (5) and is now available on platforms such as YouTube for fans.

Directed by the duo David Toro and Solomon Chase, the production is a visual project that accompanies the release of their next studio album, "Confessions II", which will be available on July 3rd.

According to the description released by the festival, the production is more than ten minutes long and was based on the first six tracks from the Queen of Pop's new album, including "I Feel So Free" and "Bring Your Love", a partnership with Sabrina Carpenter. Some other names participated, such as Kate Moss, Benedict Cumberbatch and Julia Garner.

Celebrities' appearances take place in unexpected settings that simulate parties and nightlife. In the film, Madonna shares the screen with actress Julia Garner, who performs on a dance floor. In another moment, veteran Debi Mazar shares the frame with actor Benedict Cumberbatch and Colombian singer Feid.

According to the Tribeca Festival, the film was conceived as a continuous experience, without narrative divisions between songs: "The film unfolds as a single piece, interweaving sequences connected by music into an immersive cinematic experience", describes the organization. The proposal was to transform the songs into images and address subjects from the star's artistic universe.
