City in southern Iran hit by enemy projectiles, says Iranian media

Iranian broadcaster Press TV stated that a location in the city of Sirik, located in the south of the country. was hit by enemy projectiles this Wednesday (10).

Moments earlier, CENTCOM (US Central Command) stated that it began attacks against multiple targets in Iran for the second day in a row.

CENTCOM justified the strikes as a response to "Iran's continued unjustified aggression."

"U.S. Central Command forces began launching additional self-defense strikes today at 5:15 p.m. ET against multiple targets in Iran on orders from the Commander in Chief. The strikes are a response to Iran's continued unwarranted aggression."

New threats from Trump
Trump stated that the American Army would carry out new attacks against Iran this Wednesday.

"We're going to hit them, hit them very hard," Trump told reporters at the White House, citing Iran's downing of an Apache helicopter in the Strait of Hormuz.

"Based on the helicopter, I think we have the right to do that," he told reporters.

When asked if this means the resumption of bombings, the US president said yes.

He refused to rule out attacks on civilian infrastructure, including power plants and bridges, expressing frustration that Iran had not yet signed a deal.

Thus, the Republican lamented the slow pace of negotiations to end the war, which, according to him, are still ongoing.

"I've been working with Iran for several months. They should sign the agreement. It's a good agreement," he commented, highlighting that the Iranians have already agreed not to obtain a nuclear weapon.

"We want a deal that is meaningful, we want a deal that works," Trump said.
