Christina Rocha leaves SBT for the 3rd time and says: "I have to respect myself"

Presenter Christina Rocha, 68, announced her departure from SBT this Friday morning (22). On social media, she shared a video giving details of the end of her professional relationship and revealed her last stint at the broadcaster.

"Today everyone, how are you? [...] Well, as I have always been clear with you, I am here to say the following, that I am no longer at SBT. Three months ago I had already informed SBT that I had a clause in the contract, saying that I was not going to renew as it was", began the former presenter.

At a certain point in the report, Christina Rocha stated that she maintains her professional ethics and therefore waited to announce her departure.

"I didn't say it before because I was waiting for the contract to end, of course, because one thing I've always had was professional ethics. Anyway, but now [the contract] ended on May 15th. So, just to tell you that I'm free now. Free as a bird", he continued.

Christina Rocha added: "I also confess that perhaps I wouldn't have returned, if I had known it was going to take this path, I didn't even stay on the air for a year. But I respect SBT's strategy, but you also have to respect me."

"So, just to tell you, thank you for your affection, we are here, I have new projects, new things and to say that I am here, available, okay? A big kiss and thank you very, very much for your affection. Free as a bird, but ready to start again. Kiss", declared the former presenter.

With her departure, Christina Rocha ends her third stint at SBT. She left the network for the first time in 2000, but returned in 2008, remaining until 2024, in charge of the program "Casos de Família". When she left the attraction, she left SBT again, but returned in 2025.
