In a statement published on social media, representatives of the former Exaltasamba stated that the singer will undergo an endoscopy for investigation.
There are no details about the singer's health status or the problem that led to his hospitalization. Sought by g1 for more information, the singer's advisor did not return until the last update of this report.
"Singer Chrigor's production informs that the performance that would be held tomorrow and Sunday in the South were canceled due to health issues of the artist who is currently hospitalized for tests requiring endoscopy for investigation. Any other update from the doctors we will post here throughout the day."
The concert hall where the singer would perform on May 31st, in Paranaguá, in Paraná, published a statement stating that, despite Chrigor's absence, the "Virou Pagodin" event remains scheduled and will take place normally.
The 51-year-old pagode singer made history among the stars of "pagode 90", being an integral part of Exaltasamba from 1993 to 2002. After leaving the band, he pursued a solo career.
In addition to shows from his solo career, the singer is touring Brazil with the Samba 90 Graus project, alongside Netinho de Paula and Marcio Art.
