Chicago Bulls theme: what song plays when the teams enter the World Cup?

The music chosen by FIFA for the players' entrance during the 2026 World Cup has history. "Sirius", which has been played since the first World Cup game, between Mexico and South Africa, at the Azteca Stadium, became known during the Michael Jordan era at the Chicago Bulls.

Used at the teams' entrance to the pitch during the World Cup, the track was released in 1982 by the band The Alan Parsons Project and gained fame when it became the official theme of the team's presentation led by Jordan, Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman before NBA games.

On social media, FIFA's choice resonated with viewers of the games, especially among North Americans, as the song became part of the country's popular and sporting culture.

The band responsible for the hit, which ended their partnership in 1990, celebrated the fact that the song was rescued to precede the World Cup games.
