Cheapest beer costs R$81 at World Cup games

The price of food at MetLife Stadium, in New York, for Brazil's debut in the World Cup scares fans. FIFA has established a fixed price for products such as beer, water and snacks.

In the match between Brazil and Morocco, anyone who wants to consume alcoholic drinks, for example, will have to pay at least 16 dollars (R$ 81, in direct conversion). This is the price of North American beer.

Other versions, such as imported beer and canned drinks, cost R$86 and R$96, respectively. A bottle of water, in turn, is priced at 5 dollars, that is, R$ 25.30 in currency conversion.

A small package of nuts, the 'nutz', famous in the USA, costs R$50.60. The prices were recorded by the Itatiaia report directly from the stage of the Brazilian team's debut.
