Champions: Arsenal seek revenge a year after elimination suffered by PSG

Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal will face each other this Saturday (30) in the grand final of the Uefa Champions League in Budapest, Hungary. With the recent Premier League champion and the current Champions League winner, the decision could be a rematch for the English side.

In last season's edition, the two teams faced each other in the semi-final, and with two victories, PSG advanced to the final, where they beat Inter Milan and won the Champions League for the first time.

At a disadvantage after a 1-0 defeat in the first leg, Arsenal showed personality in the first half of the second leg and had good opportunities, especially with attacks from Odegaard and Martinelli.

However, it was PSG that confirmed another victory, 2-1. The French club's goals at Parc des Princes were scored by Fabián Ruiz, in the first half, and Hakimi, in the final stage. The English team's only goal was scored by Bakayo Saka.

How Arsenal and PSG reached the grand final
After 20 years, Arsenal are back in a Champions League decision. Mikel Arteta's team beat Atlético de Madrid 1-0 last Tuesday (5), with a goal from Saka, in the second leg of the semi-finals of the European tournament.

The game was even played, but the English team dominated the confrontation. In the first leg, held in Spain, the clubs had drawn 1-1, and a simple victory for either side would seal their ticket to the grand final.

PSG quickly did its homework to guarantee itself in the Champions League final. The team drew 1-1 with Bayern at the Allianz Arena in Munich, with a goal scored by Dembelé in the second minute. Harry Kane scored the equalizer for the Germans in the final minute of stoppage time.

The Parisian team entered the field with a goal advantage, as they won the first leg 5-4, and needed a draw or a simple victory to return home with the classification.
