Cast of "Supergirl" arrives in Brazil and watches the team's debut in the World Cup

Promoting the premiere of "Supergirl" in theaters, part of the film's cast and crew arrived in Brazil on Saturday (13). Milly Alcock (protagonist actress), Craig Gillespie (director), Ana Nogueira (screenwriter) and Peter Safran (producer and co-CEO of DC Studios) went to Rio de Janeiro and took the opportunity to watch the Brazilian team's debut at the 2026 World Cup.

Amidst the energy of the fans, the talents took advantage of the moment to kick off their activities in Rio, where they will remain until Monday (15).

"Supergirl" will tell the story of Kara, a young woman haunted by her own past and who is far from being a model superhero. However, everything changes when a great threat and an unexpected ally draw her into the center of an intergalactic adventure that will make her confront her role as Supergirl.

In addition to Alcock, the cast also includes David Corenswet, who returns in the role of "Superman", Jason Momoa, Matthias Schoenaerts, Eve Ridley, David Krumholtz and Emily Beecham.

Supergirl hits Brazilian cinemas on June 25th.
