Casemiro arrives at Granja Comary and opens work for the Brazilian team

Casemiro is Carlo Ancelotti's first squad member to arrive at Granja Comary, in Teresópolis. The midfielder arrived in Rio de Janeiro on Tuesday night (26) to begin preparation with the Brazilian team.

The remaining players should arrive this Wednesday (27), in helicopters chartered by the CBF to travel to the concentration. Before the first activity, athletes will undergo medical examinations.

The first training session for the Brazilian team is scheduled for 5pm. The team begins preparations for the last two commitments before their World Cup debut.

The technical committee, however, will not have everyone called up at the start of work. Only 23 of the 26 players will be available. Marquinhos, from PSG, and the Arsenal duo, Gabriel Magalhães and Gabriel Martinelli, will compete in the Champions League final next Saturday (30), in Hungary, and will not participate in the schedule scheduled for the week.

The Brazilian team faces Panama on May 31st, at Maracanã. Then, they face Egypt, in Cleveland, on June 6. The debut in the World Cup will be against Morocco, on the 13th.

Casemiro arrives for another cycle wearing the Seleção shirt. The midfielder has already played in two World Cups and has 84 appearances for Brazil, with eight goals, four assists and the 2019 Copa América title.
