The Carrefour Brasil Group has put its corporate campus in Tamboré, Greater São Paulo, up for sale. The operation is conducted by Carrefour Property, the company's real estate arm.

The operation takes place amidst an administrative reorganization of the Group, which foresees the transfer of teams to new centers in the regions of Vila Maria and Tatuapé, in the capital of São Paulo, with the aim of integrating areas such as commercial and legal. The operation values were not informed.

With the change, the Tamboré campus will no longer concentrate administrative operations from August onwards. The company also informed that the property has already aroused interest from developers and investors and that it is holding talks with different players in the market.

According to the Group, there have already been proposals for uses such as corporate headquarters, residential condominiums, logistics centers and mixed-use developments.

As part of the strategy to publicize available assets, Carrefour Property launched a real estate platform dedicated to the sale and development of properties, integrated into the company's website, with information about the Tamboré campus and other properties in different regions of the country, such as location, size and development potential.

The initiative seeks to expand the reach of the Group's real estate opportunities and bring national and regional investors together in a more agile and accessible way.

The campus has around 45 thousand m² of land, more than 23 thousand m² of built area and 744 parking spaces. According to the company, the sale is part of a review of the company's land bank, which is made up of 389 properties in Brazil.

In addition to the campus, the company reported having identified more than 100 opportunities with development potential in its real estate portfolio.

"We are constantly evaluating our portfolio with the aim of unlocking value for the company, exploring different real estate development models and accelerating the monetization of strategic assets," said Camila Monteiro, director of real estate and business development at Carrefour Property.
