Carnival: Império de Casa Verde announces plot for 2027

The samba school Império de Casa Verde announced this Sunday (31) the plot of the 2027 Carnival. The samba from the São Paulo group will rescue the history of Jaguariúna, in the interior of São Paulo, considered a city that represents country culture as it has one of the biggest rodeos in the country.

The plot "Sob o Céu do Interior Brilha o Sonho Caipira: Jaguariúna, the Capital Country of Brazil" will be led by carnival artist Fabio Ricardo. The announcement was made during the Grupo Especial school's 32nd anniversary party - also marked by the coronation of the new Queen of Drums, Renata Spallicci.

At Carnival 2026, the samba school in the north of São Paulo paraded with a plot that celebrated the ancestry and resistance of enslaved black women in Brazil, the "Império dos Balangandãs: Joias Negras Afro-Brasileiras".

The association came in 9th place in the Special Group.
