Carlos visits Bolsonaro at home and says his father "is aware of everything"
Former councilor Carlos Bolsonaro (PL) visited former president Jair Bolsonaro this Saturday (4) and stated that his father is aware of the current political scenario just a few months before the 2026 elections.
"He is aware of everything that is going on here, although he is obviously prevented from accessing conversations on social media. Previously, he received a visit from my brother Flávio Bolsonaro and said that the conversation was very good and peaceful. He also asked about my brother and his son, Eduardo Bolsonaro, as they cannot have contact. I told him that he continues working as always", Carlos wrote on social media.

The visits took place amid friction between former first lady Michelle Bolsonaro and supporters of Senator Flávio Bolsonaro's (PL) candidacy for the Presidency this year. Michelle even announced her departure from command of PL Mulher last week after exposing the crisis with Flávio in a video published on social media.
In recent days, the former first lady was also criticized by the Bolsonarist base for praising a program launched by Lula for the deaf community.
Bolsonaro has been under humanitarian house arrest in Brasília since March this year. After being convicted of an attempted coup d'état and spending two months in prison in Papudinha, the former president began serving a 27-year prison sentence at home for health reasons, following a decision by Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the STF (Supreme Federal Court).
"I looked at my shirtless father and we remembered many cool moments. Seeing a man arrested without having committed any crime is something that breaks your heart, but I remained strong and achieved my goal: he was happy", added Carlos, who also intends to run for the Senate in Santa Catarina this year.
Moraes maintained Bolsonaro's humanitarian house arrest on Friday (3) after the deadline set in the first decision, in March, came to an end. The minister also ordered the seizure of a pistol and the revocation of other firearms registered in the former president's name. The equipment must be delivered to the PF (Federal Police) next week.
The sons Flávio Bolsonaro, Carlos Bolsonaro and Jair Renan Bolsonaro are authorized to visit their father, as long as this occurs "under the same legal conditions as the prison establishment, that is, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, at one of the following times: 8 am to 10 am, 11 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 4 pm".
Lawyers can visit Bolsonaro daily, for 30 minutes, between 8:20 am and 6 pm, but they need to take turns. As Flávio was included in the ex-president's defense, he can also visit his father as a lawyer.
