Car falls into river and is submerged after accident on Avenida do Estado, in SP

A car fell and is completely submerged in the Tamanduateí River after an accident with two other vehicles on Avenida do Estado, central region of São Paulo, this Monday morning (25). Firefighters were called and are working at the scene to check for victims.

The collision occurred under the East-West connection, at the height of the access viaduct to Avenida Rangel Pestana, towards Santana, at around 4:50 in the morning.

According to information from the Fire Department, the vehicle was traveling at high speed and, while turning on the bridge, it ended up hitting the side of a car, losing control, colliding with another vehicle and falling into the river, with the wheels up.
