Disclosure
A project that mixes beats, dreams and football to talk about something bigger: to continue. Thus arrives "Campeão", new album by Tropa do Bruxo, a collective created by Ronaldinho Gaúcho.
With 16 new tracks and appearances from the national urban scene, the work, released this Friday (19), proposes a simple but powerful inversion: being a champion before even winning.

Tropa do Bruxo, created in partnership with Wusta Studio, has been operating for five years as a space for convergence between different cultural expressions. Around the figure of Ronaldinho, the collective built its own identity by bringing together music, football and everyday life in the peripheries in the same conversation.
"The Tropa do Bruxo represents union, connection, dream and achievement", summarizes the former player, who is the main face and inspiration of the project.

This fusion of universes is precisely what, in the opinion of those who follow the movement closely, makes the initiative unique.
"The Tropa do Bruxo is the most authentic cultural manifestation that unites music and football in the world. From the beginning they found a very interesting way of bringing the essence of Futebol Arte and Ronaldinho's Random Rolê to the universe of Brazilian peripheral music. It is the type of project that only Brazil can provide", says Ian Bueno, Head of Symphonic Distribution Brasil.
Beyond the trophy
Despite the direct references to football, visible in titles such as "Camisa 10", "Melhor do Mundo", "Trás a Taça", "Nota 10" and "Gol de Placa", the album is not limited to the imaginary of sporting achievements.
Between the lines, "Campeão" talks about insisting when everything seems to push in the opposite direction and about transforming falls into learning.
As the project's own manifesto defines:
"Campeão is not an album about winning. It is an album about existing as a winner beforehand. victory arrives".
Voices from the street and real stories
The album weaves together different experiences through participation. Names like MC Tuto, MC Rodrigo do CN, MC Jacaré, MC Lele JP, MC Cebezinho, MC Rick, Boladin 211, MC Luuky, MC WS da Leste, MC Joãozinho VT, MC Kadu, MC Leozinho ZS, Hariel and RVPHA help to build a collective narrative.
According to Ronaldinho, contact with artists is one of the most striking points of this construction: "Feeling the warmth and will of those who wants to win, of those who try not to give up and go all the way to make their dream come true."
Musically, "Campeão" relies on a pulsating base, marked by funk, with influences from contemporary pop. The songs feature direct choruses and lyrics that speak to ambition, friendship and social transformation.
The songs address both the world of football and themes such as daily challenges and the search for opportunities. Songs such as "Vida Me Levar", "Cansei de Viver na Rua" and "Papo de Mudar de Vida" reinforce this more direct look at reality.
Ronaldinho himself also appears on the scene in "Sem Sono no Jogo", reinforcing the idea of discipline, focus and mentality.
