Pre-candidate for president Ronaldo Caiado (PSD) criticized the candidacy of Flávio Bolsonaro (PL) this Friday (10) on social media, stating that "the ship is sinking and the allies have already started to jump out!".

The comment was made on his profile on X (formerly Twitter), in reference to an article saying that the PP (Progressive Party) and União Brasil had given up supporting Flávio's candidacy for President.

As CNN reported, senator Ciro Nogueira (PP) had already given signs that he would block any possibility of an alliance between the União Brasil-PP federation and the senator.

According to sources close to Ciro, the main reason for blocking the alliance would be the way Flávio lacked solidarity after the PF (Federal Police) operation against the PP leader, at the beginning of May.

At the time, Flávio said that the accusations against Ciro were "serious". The following week, when audio recordings of Flávio asking Daniel Vorcaro for resources were leaked, Ciro got back at him: "If (Flávio) is guilty, he has to pay exemplarily," he said.

This is not Caiado's first criticism of Flávio. The former governor of Goiás has raised his tone against the senator this week.

On Tuesday (7), Caiado classified as "unacceptable" the actions of Jair Bolsonaro's (PL) eldest son in relation to the tariffs imposed by the USA on Brazil.

"That's it, you're conspiring against the country's economy", he commented. The following day, Caiado stated that whoever voted for Flávio would re-elect President Lula (PT).

"Flávio Bolsonaro asking for tariff postponement is unacceptable", says Caiado; see analysis | H TIME
