CAE approves renegotiation of rural debts amid impasse with government

The CAE (Economic Affairs Committee) of the Senate approved this Wednesday (27), in a symbolic way, the PL report (bill) 5122/23, which deals with the renegotiation of rural debts. The text now goes to the House plenary for analysis.

The vote took place even without an agreement with the federal government. The government leader in the Senate, Jaques Wagner (PT-BA), was the only vote against the proposal.
