Cade approves purchase of IDwall Tecnologia by Serasa

The General Superintendence of Cade (Administrative Council for Economic Defense) approved, without restrictions, the acquisition by Serasa of the entirety of the total and voting share capital of IDwall Tecnologia, a digital identity verification and fraud prevention startup.

The order was published in the Official Gazette of the Union (DOU), and the deal is valued at R$400 million.

"For Serasa, the operation represents an opportunity to expand the fraud prevention solutions offered by the company and the Experian Group's operations in that segment. For IDwall, the operation allows it to enter new markets, including international ones, due to Experian's presence in several countries", the companies informed Cade.
