BTS has the album with the most weeks at the top of Spotify Brazil in 2026
K-pop group BTS became the record holder with the most weeks at the top of Spotify in Brazil in 2026, after the release of "Arirang".
Released on March 20, the group's fifth studio album reached 12 consecutive weeks at the top of the platform, becoming the longest in 2026 in the position.
"Arirang" marks the reunion of RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook after a break of almost four years, when the members completed South Korea's mandatory military enlistment. The album's title refers to the first Korean song recorded in the United States, a folk song that symbolizes the soul, history and resistance of the Korean people.
The return also includes the world tour "BTS World Tour Arirang" in 12 different regions and 31 performances, which began in April 2026. The group arrives in Brazil in October, for shows in São Paulo on the 28th, 30th and 31st at Morumbis Stadium.
They will also be part of the closing attractions of the 2026 World Cup, alongside Madonna, Shakira and curated by Coldplay.
In 2025, Spotify Brasil announced the ten most listened to albums of the year in the country and only one international album made the list, "Mayhem", by singer Lady Gaga. Alongside the singer were names like Henrique and Juliano, Matuê, Léo Foguete and Lauana Prado.
