Apple TV+ announced this Thursday (18) the official premiere date of the new comedy series starring Matthew McConaughey, 56, ("How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" and "Interstellar") and Woody Harrelson, 64, ("The Trick" and "True Detective").

Entitled "Brothers", the production will portray the actors playing fictional versions of themselves. Chaos begins when the protagonists discover "a secret kept for decades."

According to the synopsis, after Woody's daughter's marriage fails, he is forced to join Matthew's family on a ranch located in Austin, USA. The retreat, which was supposed to serve as comfort, gets out of hand as soon as Matthew's mother, Ma Mac (Holland Taylor), lets it slip that the two friends could be brothers.

In response to the family crisis, the protagonists react to the news in different ways. While Woody investigates the truth at all costs, Matthew finds himself juggling the possibility of a new bid to become Governor of Texas.

In addition to the main actors, Natalie Martinez, Brittany Ishibashi, Nolan Almeida, Ella Grace Helton, Noah Carganilla, Highdee Kuan, Oona Yaffe and Holland Taylor are also part of the cast. The initial two episodes of the plot will be available to fans from September 23rd on the North American streaming platform.

At the moment, there is no further information about the development of the story or the release date of the official production trailer. The preview should be published over the next month, anticipating the expectations of the actors' fans.
