Brooke Shields reveals how her daughters discovered romance with John Kennedy Jr.

Actress Brooke Shields, 60, revealed that her daughters Rowan, 23, and Grier, 20, were surprised to find out about her romance with John F. Kennedy Jr, son of former United States President John Kennedy.

The two had a brief relationship in the 1980s. In an interview with People magazine, Brooke revealed that her daughters found out through the series "Love Stories: John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette", on Hulu.

She explained that her name was mentioned in the episode and caused a reaction from her daughters:

"I was out, and my daughter called me and said, 'Oh my God, you were mentioned in Love Story. Is it true?'"

She also revealed that the fact didn't impress her daughters, but joked: "They want me to be just theirs."

The first season of the series tells about the relationship between the son of former United States President John Kennedy and Carolyn Bessette. The narrative explains the couple's story, the exposure of the time and the plane crash that killed them both in 1999.

Previously, in 2023, Brooke had already commented on the relationship: "He kissed me, and it was the best kiss I've ever received in my life."
