Broad renegotiation could restrict agricultural credit, says Durigan

The Minister of Finance, Dario Durigan, told CNN Brasil that a broad renegotiation of rural debts could end up reducing the supply of credit to agribusiness. According to him, proposals that include non-compliant producers or impose general limits on rural credit interest rates could lead private banks to restrict financing to the sector.
