British Prime Minister asks Elon Musk to stop interfering in UK politics

Prime Minister Keir Starmer said this Thursday (4) that businessman Elon Musk should stop interfering in British politics. The statement comes after the billionaire made publications on The killer, a Sikh man, was convicted last Monday (1st).
Videos released after the sentence showed that the police ignored the young man's requests. In footage from an officer's body camera, Nowak appears lying in the street saying "I've been stabbed" and "I can't breathe," while an officer responds, "I don't think so, buddy." The scenes provoked outrage among the population - particularly over how the police treat different ethnicities.
Starmer said the police had questions to answer about their handling of the incident, but condemned a violent and disorderly protest that took place on Tuesday night and said it was "inexcusable" to exploit the death to provoke tension.

"Once again, Musk has been interfering in our politics in recent days, trying to provoke divisions. This is not how we are in the Kingdom Kingdom," Starmer told reporters.
The exchange of jabs between Starmer and the billionaire comes as Musk's SpaceX prepares to launch what could be one of the most valuable initial public offerings of all time.
Musk accused British police of bias
Musk had posted about the case on where an accusation of 'racism' is the most serious offense that can be committed, even worse than rape or murder!" he posted on Wednesday.
The police and government have rejected accusations of bias in policing.
Nowak's family, who met privately with Starmer on Thursday, called his treatment by police "inhumane and degrading" but said after the sentencing that his death should not be "used to create further division, hatred or tension".
Starmer has criticized Musk before
Musk has criticized Starmer before. In January 2025, he even accused him of having failed, as chief public prosecutor between 2008 and 2013, to prosecute gangs formed mostly by men of South Asian origin who sexually abused girls.
Starmer defended his actions during the period.
He also expressed support for a Labor Party parliamentarian who is taking action against Musk's xAI, after stating that the Grok AI tool was used to generate false images and sexualized her. The Prime Minister had already criticized the platform for this episode, which led X to adopt measures to adapt to UK legislation.
