The governor of the Federal District, Celina Leão (PP), said that the loan from the FGC (Credit Guarantee Fund) will be paid in 15 years, with a two-year grace period.

"I want to tell the population of the Federal District that this loan will be for 15 years, with a two-year grace period, and the person who will pay the loan is BRB (Banco de Brasília), which has always made a profit", he guaranteed.

The statements were made to the press after a hearing at the STF (Supreme Federal Court), which concluded an agreement with the Union to help BRB.

The agreement was submitted for approval by Minister Luiz Fux. He is the rapporteur of an action filed by the government of the Federal District to force the federal government to participate in the rescue of BRB.

She also said that BRB went through its "most difficult moment" and "returns with compliance, with a controlling company, which is the government of the Federal District, vigilant and responsible".

"We returned the BRB to the population of Brasília", highlighted the governor.
