Brazilians will be able to use a National Identity Card to enter 8 countries in South America

Brazilian tourists will be able to use the National Identity Card (CIN), the new ID, as a travel document to enter eight countries in South America.
The agreement that allowed the inclusion of the CIN in the list of identity documents accepted by countries was signed this Friday (29) during a meeting of the Ministers of Justice and the Interior of Mercosur, at Paraguay.
Will start accepting the CIN:
Argentina
Paraguay
Uruguay
Bolivia
Chile
Colombia
Ecuador
Peru

A date has not yet been set for countries to start accepting the CIN. The expectation is that the document can be used by Brazilians from August onwards.
With the decision, the CIN joins a list of documents that are already accepted by these countries. Today, to enter the eight countries mentioned, Brazilians can now use:
the Civil Identity Registry;
the ID issued by each state;
the passport
