Brazil x Panama: lineups and where to watch the World Cup preparatory friendly

Brazil enters the field this Sunday (31), at 6:30 pm (Brasília time), to face Panama, in a friendly preparatory to the 2026 World Cup.

The match takes place at Maracanã, in Rio de Janeiro, and marks the team's farewell in front of Brazilian fans before the trip to the United States. The duel will be broadcast on TV Globo, SporTV and GE TV (YouTube), in addition to CNN Esportes in real time.

This will be the penultimate commitment of the Brazilian team before their debut in the World Cup. After arriving in the USA, the team will face Egypt on June 6th, at 7pm (Brasília time), at Huntington Bank Field, in Cleveland. The first game of the World Cup takes place on the 13th, against Morocco.

Carlo Ancelotti will have two new additions to the defense line, as Marquinhos and Gabriel Magalhães did not train with the group this week, as they were involved in the Champions League final. Bremer and Léo Pereira were chosen to fill the defenders' positions. Furthermore, Neymar has a calf injury and will also be absent from the friendly.

Panama will also have two important absences: goalkeeper Luis Mejía and midfielder Adalberto Carrasquilla. The Central American country is in Group L of the World Cup, alongside Croatia, England and Ghana.
