Norway will be the most valuable team faced by Brazil so far in the 2026 World Cup. The match takes place this Sunday (5), at 5pm (Brasília time).

This, however, is not enough to compete with Brazil. Led by Vini Jr., the squad led by Carlo Ancelotti is valued at 928.2 million euros (R$5.5 billion).
The Brazilian team ranks sixth among the most valuable in the world, behind powers such as France and Spain. Norway appears in ninth place, just behind the Netherlands.
The values consider the euro exchange rate on July 1st and data from Transfermarkt, a website specializing in market value estimates in football. The platform takes into account factors such as age, performance, potential, contract length, salary and transfer fees of players.

Vini Jr. or Haaland: who is more expensive?
This Sunday's clash pits two of the most valued players on the planet face to face: 25-year-old strikers Vini Jr. and Erling Haaland.
In the individual duel, the Norwegian has an advantage in market value. Valued at 200 million euros (R$1.18 billion), Haaland is the most expensive athlete in the match.
Vini Jr. appears close behind, estimated at 140 million euros (R$828.03 million). The striker is, by far, the most valuable player in the Brazilian team.
Following are defender Gabriel Magalhães and attacking midfielder Matheus Cunha, each valued at 75 million euros (R$443.6 million) - just over half of Vini Jr.'s value and around 38% of Haaland's.

Haaland accounts for a third of the value of Norway
Haaland, who plays for the Manchester City team, accounts for 34% of the market value of the Norwegian team. After him, the most expensive player is Arsenal midfielder Martin Ødegaard, valued at 65 million euros (R$ 384.4 million).
The average of the squad, however, is pulled down by the composition: 18 of Norway's 26 squad do not exceed 20 million euros in market value, according to data from Transfermarkt.
The scenario is very different in the Brazilian team. Valued at 140 million euros, Vini Jr. represents around 15% of the team's total value.
This reflects a more balanced squad. In addition to Vini, 14 other players in the team are valued at more than 20 million euros.
