Brazil achieved new market openings for agribusiness products in Malaysia, Kenya and Turkey, in another round of health negotiations conducted by MAPA (Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock) in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

With the new authorizations, the country reaches the mark of 651 open markets since the beginning of 2023.

In Malaysia, approval was given for the export of egg products intended for animal feed. In Kenya, Brazil will be able to sell fish flours and oils, blood products, flours and fats of animal origin, as well as flavors aimed at animal nutrition.

In Turkey, the opening includes roasted baru nuts, bovine genetic material, fish, fish oil and other aquatic animals intended for animal feed.

The new qualifications expand the Brazilian export agenda in markets that, together, imported more than US$4.4 billion in agricultural products from Brazil in 2025.

Turkey accounts for the largest share, with around US$3.2 billion, driven mainly by soy, coffee, fiber and textile products.

Malaysia imported US$1.2 billion, with emphasis on sugar, ethanol, coffee and cereals, while Kenya purchased around US$57 million in Brazilian agricultural products.

In Mapa's assessment, the new authorizations reinforce the strategy of diversifying destinations and expanding the presence of agriculture in niches with higher added value, such as animal nutrition and bovine genetics.
