Brazil opens decisive Sunday of the round of 16; see the World Cup schedule

The knockout phase of the 2026 World Cup continues this Sunday (5) with two more clashes in the round of 16. The main highlight of the day is the Brazilian team, which faces Norway for a place among the eight best teams in the tournament.

Brazil enters the field at 5pm (Brasília time), at the MetLife Stadium, in East Rutherford, after eliminating Japan in the previous phase. On the other hand, Norway arrives motivated by the classification over Ivory Coast and tries to surprise the Brazilian team.

Later, at 9pm, Mexico and England play another big duel at Estadio Banorte, in Mexico City. The English advanced after beating the Democratic Republic of Congo, while the Mexicans left Ecuador along the way.

The winners of the two clashes will face each other in the quarter-finals of the World Cup, in a duel scheduled for next Saturday (11).
